Going to this CVS Pharmacy for prescription needs is like going to a hometown pharmacy of years ago. Teresa, the pharmacist, whom I primarily have contact, is absolutely exceptional. She is always extremely friendly & will acknowledge me, even if one of the techs completes the transaction. And somehow, despite many customers, Teresa recalls my name. She gave me an injection that was as good, if not better, than any I’ve had in my years. I had contact with another pharmacist on one occasion & she was also very affable. The techs are also outstanding. I apologize for forgetting names (Gigi?). In the storefront, the cashiers are very nice, as are the customer service people. I highly recommend this CVS Pharmacy.
I have called refills in multiple times to only come by, and they don’t have Modafinil or Provigil in stock. And that is talking to an actual representative when I call the refills in. It’ll be ready in an hour, and it may not actually be that day. Because when I go to pick it up, they have to order it. CVS Pharmacy is frustrating to deal with.
Vons Pharmacy is the best! I switched to them a few months ago from Walmart Pharmacy and CVS because at both stores. I always had to wait… most times, if I dropped off a prescription or sent it over, I would end up having to wait until the next day for my prescription and then have to wait in line again to get my RX. I finally walked into Vons Pharmacy, and I was so happy. I was very happy with the pharmacists that own the store, and I love giving my business to a small business. All of the staff are very friendly and very helpful. If you’re not happy with your pharmacy or would just like to be greeted by a friendly face each time you come in, give them a try! You won’t be sorry!
They messed up my prescription. It was birth control. I asked them about it because the packaging was different they said, yep, it is the exact same. It will all work fine… I said ok… yea, no, it was the wrong prescription. I needed nongeneric Modafinil they gave me generic. Lucky I didn’t get pregnant. I puked my brains out. It’s not ok to mess up this kind of thing.
Let me just say, I agree with the person that said that Rite Aid Pharmacy had gone downhill in the last few months. So true! I have had numerous not-so-good experiences at the drive-thru. Today, however, I wanted to express my sincere thank you to Jane. You made my day! Truly! I came back to the pharmacy today to pick up the prescription that I was told would be ready today. Needless to say, it wasn’t but no fault to Jane. She went and found out what happened in a timely manner, and yes, I had to go and wait for my medication to be filled. I got back in line, and Jane was ready for me with her pleasant attitude and smile in her eyes. Thank you, Jane! I wish everyone was like you. God Bless!
They didn’t bag one of my items, so when I got home, I realized and called. The lady on the phone said she bagged it originally and I forgot a bag, the only problem is my cashier was a man and I double-checked with him if it was only 3 bags and he said yes. Driving back because you forgot to bag Modafinil is a pain, but lying to me got you a one-star review.
The pharmacy staff is great! They work really hard to get my prescriptions ready when I request a certain time frame. They are courteous, kind, and very helpful. I love Xuan and the other head pharmacist! When I first moved here, I got my prescriptions from CHC Pharmacy SLO because they were closer, one trip did me in, and I never went back. I’ve always had my prescriptions filled at Krogers in my previous hometown and have always had great service. These pharmacists are busy all the time, so we all need to be as kind to them as they are to us. Give them a word of encouragement from time to time, and I’m sure they will appreciate it.
This place has a sign at the drive-thru pharmacy that says both lanes full service. They are not. The outside lane is for pick-up only. How hard would it be to take down a sign that is false? I waited in line for 20 minutes to be told to start over and go around to the other line. So frustrating when you’re sick and trying to pick up a prescription!
